Extensive range of facilities for both young and old
Vakantiecentrum De Ullingse Bergen is the holiday resort for young families with children up to around 10 years, seniors and nature lovers. Young families have fun in one of the many playgrounds or the heated outdoor pool. Below is an overview of the many facilities at our Holiday Centre.
Playing undisturbed
"Playing children have priority at our holiday centre. The Ullingse Bergen is a nice clear campsite for parents with young children. Close to your tent or caravan, there is a sandpit with play equipment for enterprising toddlers. From your armchair, you can keep an eye on your toddler at play. An extensive playground can be found near the central facilities. Here your children can play, climb and clamber for hours undisturbed.
Ball pit & Toddler play area
Great romping and dry swimming in the ball pit. If the weather is not so good outside, the children can play dry in the "ball pit". This is a covered area with a ball pit, large train track (who will make the most beautiful train track?) and toddler zone, ideal for children up to 5 years old. In the toddler zone, young children can play safely on a slide, climb over the play blocks and balance over the rainbow bridge.In both good and bad weather, children can have fun in the indoor playground with large play equipment where hours of climbing, clambering and sliding can be enjoyed.
Swimming
You can splash around, play with water and swim laps in our heated outdoor pool. For the little ones, there is a separate paddling pool with toys. For the older ones there is a large 1.40 m deep pool. To prevent small children (without swimming diplomas) from slipping away in an unguarded moment, we have built a safe fence around and between all the pools. For the parents, we have lovely loungers. It is a holiday, isn't it?Did you get thirsty or hungry while swimming? No problem! The staff at the snack bar, located right by the pool, will be happy to serve you and prepare the snacks you want!
Sporty hour
Fancy a sporty hour? That too is possible in various ways at De Ullingse Bergen. How about tennis, boules or football on our football pitch.
Snack bar
A good ice cream or delicious chips are part of your holiday. In the centre of the campsite, near the heated outdoor swimming pool, you will find the snack bar where you are welcome to enjoy an ice cream, snacks, fries, delicious pizzas, or sweets.The snack bar is open during (national) school holidays and every weekend from May to September.
Restaurant De Heksenboom
Holidays should include culinary pampering. Besides a snack bar, our campsite also has a restaurant called De Heksenboom. You are welcome in our restaurant for a variety of delicious dishes, ranging from a quick lunch to a multi-course dinner. Your children can even enjoy one of the delicious children's dishes or pancakes. While you enjoy your dinner, the children will have a great time in the outdoor playground or in the children's playroom (indoors).
Sanitary blocks
On the campsite, there are 2 comfortable sanitary buildings available. One toilet building is located at the Grasveld and the other at the Maisveld. The sanitary building at the Maisveld is equipped with toilets, showers, a baby bathroom, and a chemical toilet.Last winter (2024), a completely new sanitary building was constructed on the Grasveld. The old building was demolished and replaced by a facility designed to meet all the needs of today's campers. The new sanitary building does not have a traditional men's/women's layout but features spacious bathrooms that can be used by your entire family. Additionally, the sanitary building is equipped with facilities for children and people with disabilities. The dishwashing area is equipped with a freezer (for freezing ice packs, personal food due to a special diet) and a microwave (for warming up baby food, for example). Access to this building is restricted to guests of the Grasveld through an access control system.
We do our utmost to keep these sanitary buildings wonderfully clean and fresh throughout your holiday.
Sandwich service
A holiday day should of course start every day with fresh croissants and a morning paper! There is no shop on the campsite, but just 1 km away, in Sint Anthonis, there is a large supermarket (open 7 days a week). At reception, we are happy to sell you daily fresh rolls (also on Sundays and public holidays; rolls to order), gas bottles, morning papers and ice creams! You can also enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea every morning to start your day off right.
Reception
Our staff at reception are at your service every day to hire (family) bikes, book your (next) holiday or inform you about fun excursions in the area. In the VVV corner, you will find a wide range of leaflets on amusement parks, zoos, museums and gardens, as well as attractive cycling and walking routes.Do you like to read a good book during your holiday? In reception, you will find a library and we will be happy to lend you a good book! You can also go to reception for a nice ice cream or a fresh cup of coffee or tea!
Library
Your holidays are the time to read a good book. In reception, you will find a mini library. Have you finished your book? No problem! Get a good book in reception and you can quickly resume reading.
Indoor playground
Nice or not so nice weather? No problem. Your (grand)children will not be bored. The little ones will enjoy hours among all the balls in the ball pit. Afterwards, they can run, play and slide in the indoor playground. They won't be a problem.
Airtrampoline
On the Airtrampoline you jump together with all your, just made, camping friends. Young, old, it doesn't matter. Everyone likes to take a jump for joy.
Water and sand playground
In the water and sand playground, children can enjoy playing with sand and water! In the central playground by the pool, there is a play structure for hours of fun!
MaGniX
Holiday centre De Ullingse Bergen is known for its limited recreational programme. During holiday periods, a maximum of two activities are organised per day. Activities include crafts, children's bingo, dancing with MaGniX, scavenger hunt or walks led by the forest ranger. MaGniX is the children's friend of all children on the campsite and dances with all children about twice a week during holiday periods. Despite the limited entertainment programme, children will not get bored. They will make new camping friends in one of the playgrounds, in the ball pit, in the indoor playground, on the Airtrampoline or in the swimming pool.
WIFI
You can use wireless internet throughout the campsite. On your pitch, you can use the limited-speed Wi-Fi for free. If you want to do more with the internet, you can buy a subscription. Day, 3-day, week, month, 3-month and 6-month cards are available.
Launderette
The launderette is located centrally on the campsite. The launderette is equipped with washing machines, dryers, a spin dryer, a slow washer and an ironing board.
Motorhome station
Next to the reception, on the Grasveld, a camper service station is available for dumping dirty water and filling the water tank.
